Today I ordered a SSD to replace the HDD in my Toshiba Satellite R630 (same like Portege R700/R705). I choose the Curial RealSSD C300 with 128 GB capacity, because the benchmarks were looking very promising. Instead of using the SandForce Controller Crucial decided to an own design based on a ARM CPU. And it looks like that the concept is working very well! Check out the test from Xbit labs: http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/storage/display/corsair-crucial-intel-ocz-ssd.html
As soon as I got the drive I will post an update how it is working my notebook.
